Botanical Gel Printing: Christmas Trees

In this workshop, students will use ferns, leaves, and branches (real and fake) to create a variety of botanical gel prints that mimic the look of Christmas trees.
Students will leave with festive prints that could be used on holiday cards, gift bags, wrapping, or tags. The instructor will also provide each student with 4 card blanks and envelopes to print on during class or to take home for future use.
Unlike many traditional printmaking techniques, gel printing has a minimal setup and does not require the use of a press, making it possible to do it from almost anywhere.
No prior gel printing experience is required.

Come experience the wonder of natural dyeing in this one-day workshop! Learn how to scour and mordant cotton fabric and apply natural color using immersion dyeing techniques.
By the end of the workshop, participants will understand how to properly prepare cotton for the dye bath and create their own natural dye pot. Each student will leave with a beautifully dyed cotton bandana they’ve prepared and dyed during class, along with three additional cotton samples to take home.
Please bring:
• Apron (or wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy)
• Dish gloves (optional but nice if you don't want to get dye on your hands)

In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn how to crochet and customize their own piece of headwear—whether it’s a beanie, mask, or balaclava. Perfect for the colder months, this workshop covers the basics of crochet, including how to read and adapt patterns to fit different head sizes. By the end of the class, students will complete one handmade item and leave with the tools, skills, and patterns needed to continue creating on their own.
Students are more than welcome to bring their own yarn and supplies if they’d like to personalize their project. A beanie can be made with any yarn weight, as long as the pattern is adjusted accordingly—so there’s plenty of room for creativity. In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn how to crochet and customize their own piece of headwear—whether it’s a beanie, mask, or balaclava. By the end of the class, students will complete one handmade item and leave with the tools, skills, and patterns needed to continue creating on their own.
Students are more than welcome to bring their own yarn and supplies if they’d like to personalize their project. Ever wonder how the world-famous Impressionists created the luminous, expressive works that transformed the art world? This one-day workshop takes you through their process step by step. Students will paint a vase of flowers from start to finish, applying time-tested techniques that blend the foundational principles of the Old Masters with the color, movement, and light of Impressionist painting.
You’ll learn how to select supplies, prepare your canvas, and compose a still life with strong lighting and visual balance. The class emphasizes fundamental skills that have stood the test of time—while encouraging your own artistic interpretation.
By the end of the day, you’ll complete a finished still life painting in the Impressionist style, showcasing both technical skill and personal expression.
