The students will learn how to cut and nip glass, different adhesives, substrates, tesserae, and grouting methods used in creating mosaics.

In this course, the student will learn 3 different techniques, glass on wood, glass on glass, and the indirect method of mosaics.

We will create mosaic coasters, a glass sun catcher mosaic, and an indirect cast mosaic.

Enter the enchanting world of fairies! In this camp, you'll create your own fairy, and design and decorate their house using items found in nature.

You'll learn about problem-solving, STEM concepts, and sensory play, as we explore different textures and tactile materials. You'll create a cardboard house, and make tiny furniture, and design peg doll clothes with natural or upcycled materials such as wood, paper, dried flowers or fake flower petals, moss, shells, twine, and model magic for pebbles. We'll even create a tiny garden for your fairy to enjoy! You'll use your imagination and creativity to bring your magical world to life and learn new skills such as painting, sculpting, and building. You will make a unique and beautiful fairy house and a collection of miniature objects and accessories to go with it.

Join us for a dynamic four-day workshop where young artists will dive into the vibrant world of printmaking! Throughout the week, participants will explore four exciting techniques: mono printing, linoleum cut, Styrofoam, and gel printing. From carving linoleum blocks to experimenting with gel plates, students will unleash their creativity while developing foundational skills in printmaking.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained a solid understanding of fundamental printmaking techniques and developed their artistic skills. Using a variety of materials such as fabric, felt, buttons, yarn, and more, students will bring their puppet characters to life with color, texture, and personality. Beyond the craft of puppet-making, this class will also foster creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills. Students will have the opportunity to develop their own puppet characters and create narratives or performances to showcase their creations.

Calling all bookworms and art lovers! In this camp, we'll dive into the world of children's books and create art inspired by some of our favorite stories and illustrations

Each day, we'll explore a different author and their unique style, from Dr. Seuss to Eric Carle, Maurice Sendak to Shel Silverstein, and new award-winning authors. We'll look at how these artists use color, shape, and line to create memorable characters and landscapes, and we'll use their techniques as inspiration for our own artwork. We'll experiment with different mediums, such as paint, pastels, and collage, to bring our favorite characters to life on the page. You'll learn how to use composition and contrast to create dynamic and engaging art that captures the spirit of your favorite books. We'll also discuss the themes and messages behind these classic stories and how they can inspire us to create art that is both beautiful and meaningful. By the end of the week, you'll have a collection of art inspired by your favorite children's books and a deeper appreciation for the artistry and creativity behind these beloved stories.
