They sometimes have spiritual meanings and connections to the natural world.
Birds in amate paper paintings often hold symbolic meanings, representing various concepts such as freedom, spirituality, and the connection between the earth and the spirit.
The use of bright and bold colors is a characteristic feature of the amate paper paintings.
