In this exciting summer camp, students will explore the art of bookmaking and have the opportunity to create their very own 3D books! This hands-on experience blends various artistic techniques while introducing students to the process of constructing unique books and journals.
Each student will create personalized works of art, including journals and 3D books, using recycled materials and treasured objects. These handmade books will serve as beautiful, functional pieces of art—perfect for recording thoughts, memories, and creativity.
Join us for a week of creativity, self-expression, and hands-on fun as we explore the art of bookmaking!
All supplies provided, but please bring a lunch and dress for mess!

Learn the basics of bookbinding in this practical, hands-on workshop. You’ll make your own stitched notebooks using simple binding techniques—perfect for sketching, journaling, or gifting. No experience needed, just a love for making handmade things!
In this class, you’ll:
· Learn basic bookbinding techniques using simple stitches
· Make a set of softcover notebooks from quality paper
· Experiment with different thread colours and cover designs
· Get tips for making more books at home
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own handmade books and the skills to create more.
