Join us for a feast for the senses! Participants at this art-and-poetry- infused workshop will explore how to integrate poetry and the Arts into other content areas of the K-12 curriculum. Teaching poetry needn’t be intimidating! Whether you want to offer your students a bite-sized taste of poetry or a full-on meal of word play experiences, this workshop will provide you with a menu of ideas for creative, engaging lessons that are both pleasing to the senses and meet learning standards.

Many of our modern fonts have their roots in this alphabet.  Simply beautiful and very legible, everyone needs this classic minuscule hand.

Come get inspired and create unique projects.  Using a variety of inks, colors, paper, and tools, we will create an origami envelope & card, a flutter book, and a lotus book with spiral script among other projects.  Beginners and any scribes are welcome.  

All supplies are included.
