Wet Felted Art Piece

Location: Schack Art Center, Studio 2
Join us for a creative three-hour class where you'll craft your own unique felted piece! Using soft alpaca and sheep wool, along with soap and water, you’ll create either a beautiful wall hanging or table mat. Our experienced instructor will guide you through various techniques to help you bring your artwork to life. We recommend keeping your composition no larger than 11 x 15 inches, the perfect size to fit into a standard float frame. This workshop is ideal for beginners and those with some experience, offering a great opportunity to dive into the art of wet felting.
*Please note: Much of the process involves gently coaxing fibers to combine, so patience and a delicate touch are key. The size and density of your project will determine how long it takes to complete.
